CEI™ has an experienced team of drafters / designers on staff. Like our engineers, they are specialized in food processing and packaging. They are all acutely aware of the rules of sanitary design as well as regulatory compliance issues such as FDA, USDA, etc.

We have been using P&ID attributes with extraction to Excel for over 25 years, using our own developed solution for this until recently when we switched to AutoCAD P&ID with database management of specifications and equipment block attributes. Management of P&ID attributes and data has been a fundamental part of our strategy in defining process design through P&ID’s since the inception of Covert Engineers, Inc.

We do all of our design work in the suite of AutoDESK products including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD P&ID, Revit, and Inventor.
