CEITM was commissioned to provide the process area HVAC design for a new barley malting facility in Montana as part of a partner design team residing in Western Canada. Preliminary and final mechanical design was developed for all required HVAC systems including general building, germination vessel process air, humidification-controlled areas and CO2 exhaust. The challenge with this project was providing engineering design remotely and using the clients drafting team for the final construction drawings. The collaboration was very successful and CEITM was able to meet the high quality of design standards required.
